WELCOME TO BIDS FOR BENEFIT

We care about our community. We believe that beautiful things can happen in this world when people work together to help others. This is why we began our sealed-bid auction Easel Program. Through our initiative, we help to connect the public with charities and corporations so everyone can do their part to make the world a better place.

Fundraising can be tough. So we created a new approach that would be creative, fun, and non-invasive. Our goal is to help charity organizations of all sizes at the lowest risk and cost possible for everyone involved. In fact, our easels are free to place at any location, which means there is no risk at all. All our partners have to do is put up our Easels and display some beautiful artwork or some cool sports memorabilia and the benefits will pour in.

100% over the starting bid amount is provided to the designated charity!

Some of our top partners include MADD Halton, United Way, Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation, and Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance. We have raised thousands of dollars for all kinds of charities and causes of all kinds, and this number can only go up from here.

WHAT WE DO

The Easel Program

Through sealed bid auctions on location at our hosting partners, people can bid on the beautiful artwork displayed. The artwork rotates regularly and 100% over the starting bid amount goes to the charity chosen by the hosting location.

Live Auctions

We also perform live auctions for those groups who want to do something more. Anthony Wagler has over 23 years of fulltime experience in the auction business and has performed hundreds of fundraising auctions. His humor and style has the gift of getting the most money and support from audiences.

Silent Auctions

With all of the materials and services provided by us, some partners can choose to host a silent auction where they collect all of the profits. All at no cost, with no risk. Bids For Benefit does it all for you. We supply some or all of the products for your fundraising event, offering products ranging in value from $10.00 up to $10,000.

HEAR FROM OUR CLIENTS

Stratford General Hospital

The Volunteers of Stratford General Hospital have been using the Bids for Benefit - Sealed Bid Auction Easel Program since 2014. We have found the staff at Bids For Benefit more than easy to work with in meeting some of our requirements to be clear and open to our supporters. The program is so simple to use for us as Bids for Benefit does all the actual work and we simply collect our share from the artwork sales. We highly recommend this firm to assist in the raising of funds on an ongoing basis with this easel program. It has truly been a pleasure getting our checks to put towards all the much needed equipment purchases we support with this program in our Hospital. Bravo to Bids for Benefit and its Staff

Trillium Community of Hope

On behalf of myself and the Trillium Community of Hope organizing committee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful job in organizing our the easel bid program and silent auction for our event, Rockin' to the 50's & 60's, on October 12, 2012. Your professional execution exceeded our expectations beyond words, and we received nothing but great compliments from our guests. The items in the auction were first class and well presented. Your efforts had a very big part in our $45,000.00 + donation to the Trillium Hospital Cath Labs. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you and your organization for your impeccable service. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

City of Kawartha Lakes Volunteer Firefighters Association

... I have had the privilege of working with Anthony from Bids for Benefit for 5 years. He has attended an annual event that our City hosts for an organization within our community. I organize the "Chief's Gala" - both police and fire. Knowing that Anthony will be attending is the highlight for me and for most of our guests. YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN A LIVE AUCTION UNTIL ANTHONY DOES ONE! It is the most hysterical thing you have ever seen! He is both professional and humorous. His ability to get the guests involved in the live auction is amazing. He is truly talented! His selection of merchandise and the quality of the merchandise is fantastic! My husband and I have pieces from the auctions in our home that we enjoy very much. We have always received our payments from the auction within 2 weeks of the event, without an issue. He not only accepts the payments for his items that he brings but also for items that the event or individuals have at the function. I wholeheartedly support Anthony and his company to participate in your event. ... Best of luck with your event and have a wonderful day!

Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation

We made a few purchases from the website and at the auction in Crysler, and we are very happy with them. :)

We have a ton of auctions and easel programs in this area -- easel bids, farm auctions, estate auctions, charity auctions -- and I don't remember having as much fun at those events as I did at the events that Bids for Benefit conducted. You are very entertaining! And the crowd was certainly engaged. Thank you for the additional information about Bids for Benefit; I'm not sure that we'll have anything coming up in the near future, however I want to keep your card on file as I know you would do a GREAT job! I would also be happy to refer anyone your way. Thanks again!

Milton Chamber of Commerce

Bids for Benefit provided an easel program and silent auction items at our recent 11th Annual Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction held at RattleSnake Point Golf Club on February 12, 2013. The items they provided helped raise a significant amount of money for our Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships for post-secondary youth in our community. This was the first year we used Bids for Benefit and it will not be the last! They were courteous, professional and helpful Their product mix thrilled our attendees who said it was the best offering of merchandise they had seen at our event. I can recommend them without hesitation and am certain that they will add value to your event.

Nottawasaga Foundation

I would like to personally thank you for all your efforts regarding our Nottawasaga Foundation's 20th Anniversary Golf and Auction event. With your help and your skills as an auctioneer, you personally were able to help us generate $18,850.00 in our live auction on July 20, 2012. Your skills as an Auctioneer are impressive. You keep the audience in tune. You worked with a room of over 700 people, not an easy thing to do. You communicated well and your voice was clear. This helped us reach and exceed our goals with this year's fundraiser. Your efforts helped us clear $451,000.00 this year. You have been with us now for over 5 years and your total auctioning skills have raised over $90,000.00 for our Foundation. I look forward to working with you again in the future. Mark your calendar as next years date is Friday July 19/2013. I will highly recommend you to any charity or event that wishes to raise money via auctioning and also recommend the quality of products that you bring with you to events such as these. Look forward to working with you in the near future.

Ed, Satisfied Customer

Just a quick note to thank you to let you know the picture arrived bright and early this morning. One reason I particularly liked this picture - I spent eleven full summers at a boys camp in Algonquin Park and canoe-tripped through most if not all of the park. Over the years my children heard so many stories about those summers that in 2011 they took me back to the park on a short canoe trip. I have over 1952 photo scans of one of my Algonquin trips. Obviously, Pointing the Way is a fond reminder of those memories.
